- Grafana k6 — tests as JavaScript code, executable thresholds, efficient
  runtime; best for API/microservice testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Gatling — async engine, highest per-node HTTP throughput, Java/Kotlin/Scala
  DSL, strong built-in reports
- Cloud load generation — containerised worker fleets on AWS (ECS/EC2 spot),
  geographically distributed, infrastructure-as-code, torn down after each run
