Tools & Technology
We are tool-agnostic by policy. The right load testing tool depends on your protocols, your team's skills, your CI/CD pipeline and your budget — not on anyone's reseller margin.
| Tool | Strengths | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Apache JMeter | Mature, protocol breadth, huge plugin ecosystem, free | Enterprise protocols, teams with existing JMeter assets |
| Grafana k6 | Tests-as-code (JavaScript), excellent CI/CD fit, efficient runtime | API/microservice testing, developer-led teams |
| Gatling | High per-node throughput, expressive Scala/Java/Kotlin DSL, strong reports | High-throughput HTTP, JVM-house teams |
| Cloud load generation | Geographic distribution, elastic scale, no fleet to maintain | Internet-facing tests at large scale |
How we choose
Selection criteria, in rough priority order: protocol support for your actual stack (HTTP/2, WebSockets, gRPC, JDBC, MQ); scripting model your team can maintain after we leave; load capacity per generator node and its cost implications; CI/CD integration for ongoing regression testing; and results/observability integration with your existing monitoring.
Already invested in a tool? We work with what you have — including
LoadRunner, NeoLoad and Locust — and will tell you honestly if it's fighting you.
